Brainstorming meeting document A brainstorming meeting was convened in Beijing during 17-18 September
2003. Representatives from Griffith University, the University of News
South Wales and Wollongong University from Australia, the Nanyang Technological
University (NTU) in Singapore, as well as Yale University participated
in this meeting. The brainstorming meeting agreed on the establishment
on an inclusive regional university consortium on sustainable development;
the design and implementation of a leadership course on sustainable
development; and development of a graduate degree programme on sustainable
