The Leadership Programme is a flagship professional development program developed by the AIT-UNEP Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RRC.AP). It is based on the experience of the Asia-Pacific Leadership Programme on Environment for Sustainable Development, which is now its 7th year of implementation at the UNEP/Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development. The three day programme will be delivered through a partnership between the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Nazarbayev University (NU), Central Asian Regional Environmental Center (CAREC), with AIT-UNEP RRC.AP. The Leadership Programme will culminate with a side event at the ESCAP Sixth Ministerial Conference on Environment and Development (MCED-6) in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
