is an environment enthusiast with multi-disciplinary experience in the
development of a range of waste management, waste water and water treatment
solutions with key interest in resource efficiency, resource recovery and
sustainability. He possesses sound knowledge in project design, policy
management, result-based monitoring and evaluation, and is confident in
handling complex projects.
10 years of hands-on experience within the public and private sector of Ghana,
he supported the implementation of various regional and national projects in
the area of waste management (3R applications), agricultural environmental
management (contaminated soil remediation), hazardous waste management (mine
site remediation), and groundwater resources exploitation and management
projects. Solomon is adept at technology assessment and monitoring, participatory
technology transfer and the provision of technical backstopping in policy and
technology deployment for sustainable environmental management.
Solomon is an alumnus
of IHE, Delft and the Asian Institute of Technology where he received a Master’s
in Environmental Engineering and Management (specialization in Environmental
Technology for Sustainable Development). Prior to that, he obtained his first
Master Degree in Groundwater Resources Development from the University of Ghana
and a Bachelor in Agricultural Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of
Science and Technology, Ghana.
